Howard Markson
- Has enjoyed a successful career in broadcast journalism,
media relations, and politics.
- Howard is the only broadcaster ever to win the
Canadian Association of Broadcasters prestigious Gold Ribbon Award,
two years in a row, in different categories: public affairs, documentaries,
and spot news coverage.
- He has reported from a number of countries around
the world, including assignments with AMC News and CTV News in London,
England. He has covered the Academy Awards and the Grammies from Los
Angeles.
- During the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria,
BC, Howard served as a media relations consultant, and worked with
the Buckingham Palace in setting up the Queen’s Baton Relay.
- Howard has just completed an assignment as a Special
Assistant to the Honourable David Anderson, Member of Parliament for
Victoria and Minister of the Environment for Canada.
